We've played them seven times since the turn of the century and we've only won three of our last ten games down there. To put that into context, we haven't played Arsenal, Man U, Villa or Spurs in a competitive match since the 1980s and Chelsea or Liverpool since the 1990s. For me it's a poor draw & one I probably won't be going to as I will be at Swindle. Interesting to see Swindle will play Chelsea after us. A fair few from Bristol do go o Uni down there though so that might help swell the numbers. I think Swindon is a more attractive game, add the unexpected £15 for the Gas game too and many will decide to give this a miss if finances, and time, are short. I remember going to Coventry and Palace in the late 70s early 80s for evening cup games. Can anyone remember when the Palace special stopped in the London area while the emergency services collected a body off the line.
