I'm sure on arrival we were advised to keep our ticket stubs as they expected it to be abandoned. I'd imagine the police bill would have put pay to the game ever getting called off though. Very true - Danny Wilson had managed Scott Jones at Barnsley and therefore would have had a fairly good idea of where Jones might put the penalty, which might very well explain Malessa walking round the pitch to speak to Phillips. Also, wasn't Hulbert being treated after being hit by a coin thrown by a Rovers fan? My personal favourite being "City have worn green hoping that they'd get the rub of it" and at 7 minutes where Mauge delivers a forearm smash (definite red in today's game) and the commentators suggesting that they couldn't see a foul.
