I think Flint was concentrating too hard onthe physical battle with his man rather than winning the ball, but to be fair it was a pretty good ball in to the box. ciderbeans Posted September 6, 2013 Report Share Posted September 6, 2013 i thought it was o'connor out jumped for their goal. flint was closer to front post. either way, the defending of set plays really needs to be worked on. for all our good in open play, one bad bit of defending from set play resulting in conceding a goal just undoes it all. So he was at fault for the goal is what you are saying - and i agree. IMO Flint looked shakey all game - so far he hasnt impressed me that much, and would be way out of his depth at Championship level.
