Seriously, these NIMBYSs who claim to be against change are the same who move in next to a pub, get it closed as a noise nuisance, see their house price rise by 10% and then swan off somewhere else to do the same. Very true, my sister until recently lived in the village of Dolton near Barnstaple, during the winter months a good fifty percent of the village was empty creating a semi ghost town, but if any development showed its head i.e some much needed housing for local young familys these NIMBYs would most definitely be there in numbers to voice their concerns of the effect on their investments.
