Posted September 22, 2013 Report Share Posted September 22, 2013 way back in 74,75. me and a couple of mates were in bristol for the easter weekend. city were playiny norwich on the saturday,on good friday the gas were playing manu, had no plans to take that game in! but stopped off in a boozer off the gordano motorway exit,and the newton abbot branch of manur coach pulled in. anyway knew a lot of the lads from local football,so we ended up in thier end for the game! finnished 1-1 hated every minute,as they are the two teams i hold in most contempt. then we got beat 1-0 by norwich the next day. but that was the build up to our glory year (the only real one ) we shall overcome!!
