No problem with women at football. I've seen pictures of the City crowd in the 50's and there were plenty of women there, and they all looked perfectly comfortable in a mainly male domain. The problem has come more recently when 'others' - not the female attendees themselves - have decided that the traditional atmosphere that attracted these women to grounds in the first place is not suitable any more, and being a 'family club' - BCFC has always attracted families - means the average fan who came to football partly to let off steam has somehow become a dynosaur who has to change their ways. It's just typical of the modern day when those affected are not complaining, but others seek to feel uneasy and complain on their behalf when it's neither wanted or necessary. The diluted atmosphere and restrictions of modern day football are putting off women and young fans, as well as men. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
