GrahamC Posted June 5, 2004 Report Share Posted June 5, 2004 No promoting from within, sorry Tinman, but there's no reason why we should gamble on someone completely unproven, and no Fawthrop (what has he ever achieved in football apart from holding on to his job at Ashton Gate whoever is in charge?), no long ball managers, no ex-Gas (remember Pulis? he was both), no journeymen (such as Colin Lee, Glenn Roeder, Trevor Francis). It is still an atractive job for someone in the lower Divisions with ambition, so the likes of Leroy Rosenior, Gary Johnson, Martin Scott or Keith Curle in that order would do me fine. As for Strachan, get real, apart from his likely huge wage demands he'll walk back in to a job at least at Divison One level the moment he wants to.
