dezgimed Posted October 22, 2013 Report Share Posted October 22, 2013 Football is about scoring goals and keeping clean sheets. The pitch can be split into 3 areas, more for pedants. Defence, midfield and attack. Passing the ball around tidily in the defence and midfield areas does not constitute playing well. How many clear cut chances did we create over 90 mins? Even during the first 20 mins where we battered them. If we cannot create more than one goalscoring chance, and we cannot keep a clean sheet. We've pretty much failed in the 2 main areas of the sport. Regardless of what SOD says, tappy football in the middle of the pitch or in our own half will not get us out of this mess.
