ciderbeans
Where has this come from and why? Yes fielding is injured but not long term. Maybe we have it in mind to get rid of fielding at some point...
RedM
Do we get all our goalies from Cardiff? Is Fieldings injury a long term thing then or has he not settled?
Night84
Funny one that. Wasn't expecting a keeper to come in on loan, hoping more for a defender, striker or winger. I wonder who will drop down to bottom of the pile, surely you don't sign a youngster on loan to just have them as a youth player.

Negan
Perhaps Dylan Casthenira? won't be offered a new contract next summer and this lad has been brought in as a replacement.
!james
is Dylan Castanheira still with us? I thought he would be on the bench Tues after Fielding was injured...

I wonder who will drop down to bottom of the pile, surely you don't sign a youngster on loan to just have them as a youth player. Perhaps he can also play anywhere along the back line or up front. It's an odd one. I heard Fielding hurt his finger which forced one of the youngsters onto the bench on Tuesday. Can't find anything about this on the official site but it was sent through the clubs official Twitter feed. Bristol City FC ?@bcfctweets7m #BristolCity announce the loan signing of Cardiff City goalkeeper Dave Richards until January 1st. The deal will then become permanent. Taylor10
I would imagine this is a development squad signing. We don't need another keeper for the first team so surely it must be?

Davros
surely spells the end of Castanheira, especially with O'Leary being on the bench the other night. I would sayso becuase I wondered who the hell O'Leary was, so looked him up 17 year old who is rather good at cricket as well. We cant rate the guys we have in our acadamy very highly. fka dagest
We got money to burn all of a sudden? It does seem a funny one in the context of constant financial restrictions reminders. It also effectively closes the door the existing young keepers. I'd have thought the money was more required else where.
AshtonGreat
Why will the deal definitely become permanent? What if he turns out to be sh*t? What if the new gaffer doesn't want him?

Fielding, Parish, Castenheira, O'Leary and now Richards. I'm all for competition for places but this is crazy. I bet there are Premier League teams without that many on their books. This football club gets stranger by the day.

Red-Robbo
surely spells the end of Castanheira, especially with O'Leary being on the bench the other night. And may well spell the end of Fielding too. Not straight away, but in Jan perhaps....
ciderbeans
Have a feeling fielding is not up for the fight. He seems to be people scapegoat of the season and is maybe regretting signing for us. To add to that the loss of his starting place, it doesn't seem to rosy
hortonred
Well done O'Dismal. How many weeks have you been planning this master stroke.Should have a major impact on our performance.
GrahamC
I think this spells the end for Fielding in January, as for the others, as I posted yesterday Dylan Castanheira must be on his way as well, he's a year older than O'Leary but now finds himself behind him in the pecking order. This is by no means an obvious priority for us so the only logical reason for it is if Fielding is moving on.
The dastardly red
Castanheira is rubbish anyway, hasn't done anything good since The Simpsons. There's no way he could be involved with us AND The Simpsons. Did you just make that up?
