cider11
I've managed to stay awake to watch the first innings in both games so far. As the Giants aren't there this season I'm not fighting the urge to fall asleep that well.
One Team In Keynsham
Prob p*****g in the wind here.........but anyone watching the baseball? Series well set up after two games! I'll most likely be watching it, then again, on at a much more civilised time for me. Not arsed who wins, but if I had to pick one it would be the Red Sox, since I have a number of friends from Boston and New England. Do enjoy baseball: makes for a good day/night out. BS5_RED
Cardinals fan with a bit of a soft spot for the Red Sox The catch Beltran took to rob Ortiz of a slam in game one was outstanding! I'm watching it on the MLB at bat app. Every game live for about 75 quid a year. Quality.
sephjnr
I'm currently watching game 3 on MLB.TV; tied at 2 apiece late on. I need the toilet. EDIT: Cards 4-2 up, Matt Holliday with a 2-run triple!
sephjnr
The cards blew that lead, but won 5-4 in the 9th on an interference call as Allen Craig was tripped up running home by the third baseman. There's going to be some bickering for the next day or so, but the St. Louis Cardinals lead the World Series 2-1!
BS5_RED
Congrats Sox. Best side wins a deserved title. 1. No-one in the world could stop Ortiz atm 2. The rest of the Sox bats didn't hit particularly well, but got their hits with men on. 3. The lower half of the Cardinals line up simply didn't show up (Freese - WTF?) Still, sure we'll be there or there about next year.
Eco
Hopefully the Red Sox will all now go for a shave.
