So the "useless" baldock according to some on here is almost on par with jet......

Aw are people being a little critical of your boyfriend Monkeh?  :P

Everyone on here has a right to be critical of a player who cost a fair wack and was signed as a 'top end' championship striker for bloody good money. He is only just starting to prove his worth so you can see why people have felt a little underwhelmed. Even more so as we signed Baldock and Davies for good money and literally gave Pitman away. Poor business by the club.

Mcinnes not the club,

Nope the club, thsy have to sanction it once mcinnes asks the question.

Personally I question Baldock's quality and price. But I will not question his professionalism or effort.

Bloody stupid price paid by the club for a pretty unproven player at the time. Didn't score lots at mk. Played briefly for whu and scord a batch of goals, pretty much like he does here, then goes on long barren runs.

Like his effort, and professionalism, like the way he gets his head up to find a good pass into the box. Think his finishing is average at best and you can't blame him for the price tag.

Mcinnes not the club,

Very true sorry my bad. It was Del's awful business in the transfer market. God he was useless. But the club did back him and ultimately sanctioned it.

In every game I have seen Baldock under Cotterill he has looked every bit worth the money we paid. Until now he hasn't proved his worth and has been disappointing. It appears as though Cotteril's style is getting the best out of him. We play with more width which helps. SOD always wanted to play so bloody narrow and we always tried playing through teams which wouldn't help Baldock one bit, which of course resulted in too many long balls.

Hope we keep this up under Cotterill as Baldock looks the real deal.
