Manon
Seems the opposition to sainsbury's re development of the mem - TRASH - are using the same cambridge based firm of no win no fee lawyers/solicitors as SAVE are using against ashton vale. That bodes pretty badly for them, I have to say. No matter how much hatred and anger I have towards the nimbys themselves, I still recognise the amazing results this legal team has achieved so far. They've had us at every turn, despite the odds seemingly stacked against them. Must say, though, what a pathetic effort by tge gas for the petition. 3000? Is that all they can muster?? A joke, they should be ashamed of themselves. Didn't we manage 30000 for the ashton vale petition... we must be ten times bigger than them! Kid in the Riot
The general consensus from people I know working in and around the project is that the JR will be allowed. The Uwe stadium is looking at a lengthy delay and a much increased build cost.

Red-Robbo
Before Redeye etc jump on this thread, I think its title should be changed to "common ground with the people of Romany inheritance" Actually, I'm just glad to find it isn't someone suggesting ground-sharing. *shudder*
In the Net
I thought that the solicitors being used by the Ashton Vale nimbys were supposed to be connected to the Gas in some way, but now TRASH are using them? I despair of anything happening in Bristol, apart from Dutch cycleways.
