So - Better?

It wasn't a good performance, the first half was appalling. Having said that we improved after the break, dug deep and most importantly got three points and a clean sheet! The luck we had for the first goal was just what we needed and winning after a poor performance can hopefully give the players more confidence. Still a long way to go but after 7 points from 3 games you have to hope that maybe the tide is turning.

I think it was significantly better than Saturday. Still not great but we looked more balanced with Bryan on the left and were able to string more than three passes together at times. Have to say that Crawley were absolutely abysmal though, one of the worst teams I've ever seen at AG. Not getting carried away, it was their errors at the end which cost them but our own have cost us enough in the last couple of years so it's nice not to be on the receiving end for once. Hopefully the result gives the players a bit of confidence.

Just seen the Crawley result - a win!  at home!  Clean sheet!!!!!!

Anyway - green shoots or false dawn?

In answer to your, perfectly appropriate question, green shoots or false dawn? No-one seems to know. Can we say, green dawn? (With some false shots, although not at the end). Hope that helps
