Xiled Posted November 28, 2013 Report Share Posted November 28, 2013 With 15 points from the first 18 games of this season, we probably need a minimum of 31 more points by next May to survive. So, from the remaining 28 games, something like 8 wins and 7 draws. As much as I wanted SO'D to succeed, I really don't see how we would have get those points. Poor performances against Sheff Utd and Brentford in recent weeks do not support the belief that 'things were improving' with the necessary consistency. Blame the board by all means but I don't think they could wait any longer based on where we are at this point in the season. If they hadn't changed anything and relegation followed, there would be a far greater outcry. It was the right decision. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
