BRISTOL86
Players will come and go. Managers will come and go. Even board members will come and go. But how many of us will turn our allegiances over to another football club in our lifetime? One thing is for sure, the decision to sack SOD and appoint Cotterill has sparked many debate, argument and conversation amongst us, but at the end of the day, WE are the one constant in all of the madness. WE are the club, and although it might just be cheap talk and lip service to get off on the right foot, it was nice to hear the new manager acknowledge that WE are the most important thing about the football club. So, whether you are for the change, against it, love the board or hate the board, let's stick together for the sake of the club we love. The club is not the manager, the board, or the playing staff, the club is the fans. Every single one of us wants what is best for the club we love. The trouble is there is no easy answer as to what "best" represents and how best we achieve it. But let's stick together - regardless of our opinion on whether this was or was not the right decision - because without the support of the fans, there is no club. COYR. Forza Revolution
Agreed. We haven't had a lot to shout about recently but let's give it a go eh. Fresh manager and fresh start. He said he wants to hear West Country noise coming from the stands so let's give it to him.

WTFiGO!?!
Think us as fans must suppkrt Cotterill. I do reserve the right to question what's going on at board room level. Coppell, Millen, mcIness and SOD are my witnesses to that.
Robbie_Turner
Well said...! Fed up with this forum moaning and whinging about everything - no we havent had a good few years and yes there has been mistake after mistake from the board....but and there has to be a but... we as the supporters are still here... we always will be, regardless of us being top or bottom, we cant switch off. Some of the dislike for Steve Cotterill, before we've even seen him pick a team is unbelievable...he wouldnt have been my choice, but the truth of the matter is he is here...he's our manager and he deserves our backing , at least give the guy a chance. Uh quite a few fans come and go. Specially the ones who didn't get the manager they wanted boo hoo! Also, board members are fans as well didn't you know? Fans are important yeah, but some fans are full of they're own importance!

The rest of the season does feel a little bit like the Last Chance Saloon. What's done is done. Our board may well win at Bull**** Bingo, we just need to do our bit to help the lads win on the pitch.
