GrahamC
He's not made the match day squad at Yeovil for a few games now, due to them having more loan players than they can play, I think. Already been confirmed by SC that like Kilkenny, his contract will be paid up in January.

I've not heard that personally, I thought that it was just NK that was said to being "paid up" in January
GrahamC
Pretty sure I read that somewhere last week, if not then apologies, I'm cracking up. As for where it doesn't fit with the "five pillars", of course it does. If we offered him less money to leave than the total we owe him for the rest of his contract that makes complete financial sense. What do you think will happen otherwise? He'll come back to us and play again in January?
The Humble Realist
Well maybe that would be an improvement seeing where we are. An improvement on what ? Our chances of being relegated ?

Only Just, but think you're right, glyn. It was close, as I recall. Mind, if the FA had taken Our John, he would have walked it...
Red-Robbo
Well maybe that would be an improvement seeing where we are. The word "improvement" and Liam Fontaine should not be mentioned in the same sentence. GJ has realised what most of us frealised over a year ago. whatever he "had", he's lost.
