Welcome To The Jungle
This is not a thread of simple congratulations and well wishes, there is another thread for those. This thread should act as a time capsule of videos, pictures, articles etc about the life of Louis Carey at Bristol City. This thread can be dug up at any point to show or simply remember a legend. I'll start with this moment in 2008 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNApMCBkS2s#t=
redsince1994
Don't have the videos but the sheer number of bones he broke for us has to be remembered very fondly. Scunny when he fractured his skull and played on is so different to so many modern footballers who will beg to be subbed off after a little bit of a nosebleed. Here's the article. formerly known as ivan
Back in the day when he was a young lad he came into McDonald's over hengrove where I was working during my college years. It was the day after we had lost 5 0 away to Bradford. Pretty sure he scored an own goal as well. I joked with him asking 'should you be in here after that performance yesterday?'. He just laughed. I was well chuffed as well as he wore the same addidas trainers I had.
