Mickey Bells left foot
now that tinman is manager i doubt he will play many games so this gives luke wilkshire the chance to show us what he can do. i hope he takes this opertunity to show us all how good he really is in the middle hopefully alongside tommy doc
Cider red
Just what i was having a chat about with my mate earlier. And we both agree that wilkshire is a tinman type player in the making , he just needs to bulk up a bit and he'll be quality.
Gerry Gows' Tash
Technically he is a good player, nice touch, good vision and an eye for goal, I think he maybe needs to gain some weight as he has a tendency to get brushed off the ball by burly centre backs - maybe he and Lee Miller should go to a fat farm ? TomBCFCUK
also tinman really rates luke wilkshire when we first signed him he said he will be one of the best signings the club would ever of made so he has alot of potential to play upto i would like to see wilkshire play just behind the front 2. swindonbcfc
wilkshire will never match tins for peripheral vision and passing. his passing is sliderule like. i.e. shorter and more direct, into the last third/box. he does bring other players in from angles but always a short ball. he's a quality footballer! success next season? who knows. entertainment? i hope so! come on you REDS! Tunley Legend
I think of all our players, Wilkshire would benefit the most from a more positive style of play. He does seem to have the ability to make runs into the penalty area behind the front two, the only player we have who can do this.
Port Said Red
The point is that Tinman will understand what LW needs round him to create chances. The post on here that asks for 3-5-2 is spot on that would give him the protection and opportunity to play an attacking role.
andy114
Wilkshire was playing really well until he played for Oz just after Xmas then he came back and lost his place.
Guest Pjj171086
I think some of our best football this season came when it was LW and Tins in midfield - i.e. Brighton away !
Guest knapper
What about Burnell i think he could do a job in the middle with tommy, Wilkshire hasnt impressed me much, if any can motivate him though its tinman
freezer
undefined No not Burnell,he ain't the anwser. If Tinman goes then I think we need another gap filled in the middle of the park. Wilkshire?. not convinced, but at the moment what else have we got.
Geesus the City fan
I feel that LW is a very capable fottballer with the potential to do well however i also feel that - 1. the fear of injury and missing the olympics 2. hmmm not so easy to phrase... let me say it this way, Beckham is a great attacking right-sided midfielder but he prefers centre, however he struggles with the requirements of tackling back and the defensive responsibilites of central midfiled. have led LW to not be particularly effective in the later half of the season. In the 1st half, and overall, the most assists throughout the team..... Cmon LW you have the ability lets see some fight
