Lrrr
Just a thought but Brentford look to have signed Chuba Akpom from Arsenal and are close to another meaning they would have 6 strikers. Will Grigg has slid down the pecking order having scored 3 in 17. Yes not what you want to be looking at in someone to sign but if a club could rekindle his form of last year he could be a real asset. Was wondering whether City would think to ask about him. Could fit with our style I feel.

Harry
We should be asking about Chuba Akpom rather than Will Grigg.

ciderbeans
Should have been in for akpom IMO with our arsenal links but oh well. Odd that brentford potentially may have 6 strikers on their books. Really going for promotion by looks of it
Lrrr
Do we actually have Arsenal links or just a few who used to play there? Jordan Wynter - They offered him a new contract, he left to get a better chance of first team football JET - We got him from Ipswich.
ciderbeans
Not direct links but yes given we have players who have been from the same academy and may have played with each other, it may have been an incentive to join us

Which would be why I said if we could rekindle his form of last season. 4 strikers of JET (if he stays) Baldock, Grigg and Burns would be good enough I'd say. UREDS_91
If we sign a striker I would have thought it would be someone in the Dele Adebola mould. Big target man who can chip in with some goals (so not Ryan Taylor) I would prefer to have some wingers come in. Taylor of Shrewsbury would be good.
