Played and scored agaisnt us a couple weeks ago. Thoughts? Would be a good signing in my opinion. If we signed him and Barnett we would have very good options up front. Can see him being able to play with any combination of our current forwards, which is nice to see too. And, finally, a real aerial threat up top. miketh2nd Posted January 8, 2014 Report Share Posted January 8, 2014 Good signing good form earlier in the season before being dropped , ripped our defence apart albeit when our defence was weaker . Even if Boro fans are right that he is lazy I can see Barnett working his socks off to get a contract with us . Also if he is good at holding up the ball we won't need to be pushing up the field so much . This signing also pretty much confirms taylor isn't in cotts plans . He seemed to also score a fair amount of tap ins, so it's good that we have another guy who can be in the right place from 6-12 yards.
