World Cup To Be Held In November....

Obviously a complete farce, that I wouldn't want but having said that it could aid England to have it mid-season rather than at the end. Everyone's always talking about how a winter break would benefit our hopes of international success.

It's just one big excuse regarding English players having a winter break to make us better at big tournaments.

What about the hundred or so foreign International players who play in England and also don't get a winter break??

It never seems to effect them at the big tournaments does it!

When we actually wake up and realise that English players just aren't as good as other players around the world, we may start doing something about it.

Until then, not having a winter break is just an excuse.

It's daft for if league 1 and 2 play, and there's no championship premier league. They will be so out of line promotion relegation issues that basically all the leagues would have to stop in the pyramid system or wait months for them to catch up.

When would players get a break? for guessing summer 2020 would be gone so they can catch up, would that then affect 2019/2020 season and if prem league etc. move there fixtures everyone would have to for promotion etc. have to be sorted.

What effect would it have on the transfer window?

Just a very stupid idea by FIFA which every person saying its stupid apart from FIFA.

Not to mention the FA cup. It would be very difficult to fit that in.

It's an absolute shambles to be honest and will effect three seasons. Hopefully by then Blatter will have snuffed it.

Would assume that it would involve lots of midweek games, but equally if the top two divisions were off for a period of time would some sides benefit with the extra support.

When you think of something like the FA Cup it goes right down to the bottom of grass roots level, with games starting in August, the knock on effects could be massive !

I have read that the FA Cup could move to being played in a midweek and have no replays, suddenly the thought of someone like Newcastle away doesn't seem as appealing.

I still wonder if the FA, Spanish, German and Italian leagues all said that they would not move their leagues what would happen. Financially those are the big boys for UEFA/FIFA
