zyderiup
Statistically just less than 1 in 10 men are gay. Are you saying that in a group of me and 9 friends, one of us is gay? I do hope it's Michael, he's super cute!!

Apparently only half of one of your friends will actually be gay- are you hoping for the top half or the bottom half?!

WTFiGO!?!
Does anyone know of any asexual players? What would happen if a asexual player came out? Would it get the same attention, probably not. Because its gay and glamorous, it has to be on headline news. The best way for gay athletes to be accepted would be not to make such a big deal of it... You know, it not being a big deal and all.Not a particularly relevant analogy as it's never been illegal to practice asexuality, never been a taboo and just hasn't had the same social issues that the homosexual populous has. And at the risk of repeating myself, being homosexual is not a big deal. The fact people are scared to publicise it (if they want to - and as has been discussed, some probably do) in the Football industry, is.

Dunc
Australian stars have been outing themselves for years ffs.Ian Roberts in 1995 - right hard rugby league b'stard as well. However it got a bitty grubby when it was revealed Roberts had been lining up book deals and appearances of TV some months before "The announcment"All his team-mates knew already, and in true Aussie style, didn't give a shit. No-one cares. He's gay. So what? http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/photos-e6frg6n6-1225869110373?page=1Everyone forgotten Gareth Thomas already? If you want an australian take on homosexuality this is pretty funny... it starts about half way through
