Cider red
Well it might well be a lot greener over there. He will have a massive pay increase that's for sure!
UREDS_91
Wages are capped in the MLS, only two players in the squads allowed to have a higher bad of wages. So he may not be on bigger wages.

Carey 6
See Orr Toronto bound with Defoe . In my opnion jumped ship from us for more cash , just proves grass not always greener! Possibly one of the worst sayings to have said regarding Orr, he's gone on to win promotion to the premier league, and played probably about 30 odd times in it whilst we've gone on to get relegated and now sit at the bottom of league one
David Brent
Very good move for him and his family. Good luck to him. Exactly. What an experience. Good luck.

mjd
Good luck to him, I liked him as a player ,he got stuck in was not the best at passing the ball out of defence ,but I felt he always gave 100per cent when I saw him play.
Globe Trotter
Excellent news for him - someone who has made the most of their (limited) ability, always given 100% for whatever club he's played for. A true pro and perhaps in some ways quite an old fashioned footballer.

Pickle Rick
See Orr Toronto bound with Defoe . In my opnion jumped ship from us for more cash , just proves grass not always greener! I'd do it if I were him. Toronto is a place that I'd enjoy living at. Easier standard of football in general, great lifestyle and I'm sure he'll have a decent enough wage. Jim Brennan used to play for them when they first formed. I believe he was also captain. So that's a second ex-player at Toronto.

redsince1994
Never the best player, but was a massive part of the best years of the club's recent history. Good luck Bradders.
Tom
Jim Brennan is now Toronto FC Reserve Team Coach as well as First Team Assistant Coach under Ryan Nelsen. So there's a real City connection there at the moment! Several English and Scottish players there already, Richard Eckersley, Steven Caldwell and now Defoe. Good luck Brad. CalifoniaRed
Not sure I would use the phrase liking the MLS - Shtanley have yet to see a good game. Standard is ordinary at best but maybe that's just San Jose!
B-Rizzle
I agree that Bradders as achieved more since leaving us. Yes, it never really worked out for him at QPR or Blackburn but he still played a fair few games in the prem. His career seems to have stalled since his hooha at Blackburn so sounds like an ideal move for him. He's an orr....!!!

Oxford Red
He served us well and moved on to bigger and better things. The grass has been greener for him IMO. Agree. He went on and played both Prem football and top level Championship. We couldn't offer him either. Top bloke too and I wish him well.

Would be foolish imo to turn any offer from them down, his career has been more succesful than we have the past few years, he got out at the right time and even Toronto FC will be a step up from us.
