Eco
Been driving over 30 yrs and never had one, am I just lucky or are they really such a rarity ?
chipdawg
Depends on your mileage. I've been driving 15 years and I've had 6 or 7, but in my 15 years I've done in excess of 200,000 miles in a variety of vehicles
dezgimed
Some people have no concept of checking the pressure of their tyres, surely this has an impact on frequency?

Pickle Rick
Tyre flatty's may occur more frequently due to the likes of: Tyre sidewall damage/cuts/bulges Too much/little air pressure Low tread - cords showing Pot holes Buckled rims Hot days and long journeys may also increase the chance of having to put the spare wheel on. Slacker
Driving over thirty years? You should pull over and have a break mate!
Red-Robbo
I'd never had one until a couple of years ago when I was doing 70 on the M3. Fortunately I just happened to be 50 yards from Fleet services, so didn't face the horror of trying to change a tyre on a motorway hard shoulder! Drew Peacock
I had one on my way back from Spurs after we lost to a Dave Rodgers own goal and I had my pocket picked by some cockerney low life on the way to the ground. Great day out. Not.
