Hi

I have just signed up, I have been reading the forums for a few years and have decided it time to tell others my opinions on games and ongoings around the club

From my username you can tell my name and where i sit

I have been supporting city now for 15 years and have had a season ticket for the last 10

My favourite player on current form is Marv he's pretty much the engine in the team even though he's getting older and his legs might be running out of steam

There's 3 upcoming prospects sniffing around the first team squad who we all know who they are and have a good future at the club

Favourite city moment in my lifetime is Hartlepool play off second leg when we won 2-1 the dolman was actually shaking that night an the finals we have list have been good days out but even though the results haven't gone our way

Cheers for reading

Welcome!

As you've been reading the forum for a few years you'll know the process:

1) Thread starts about a reasonable subject

2) There is disagreement

3) The insults start

4) Thread goes off at a tangent

5) The hedgehog gets a mention

6) The right hon Les Q talks about making gravy

7) More insults

8) Thread fades away unless you see someone in the Avon Gorge Hotel

You mention Les Q, what bloody planet is he on? He's barking mad isn't he? Funny, admittedly but a total fruit loop!! :bonkers:

I think Les has done the "40 years+ supporting City".

In which case he seems remarkably sane and level headed, all things considered.

Well, I'm certainly not going to mention the hedgehog on this thread!

...try and avoid Saturday afternoons on here.

I agree. Fairly depressing Saturday afternoon and evening. Then a bit more depressing and bad-tempered on Sunday, a mood that continues through the working week. The gloom lifts momentarily on Friday evening, and then panic strikes around 11am on Saturday morning.

And then we start all over again.

Welcome, don't write anything in remotely coherent English or you'll be quoted in The Post the next day

On the other hand, if it isn't correctly spelt and with good grammar you will get pulled up by the grammar police.

By the way WTTJ, you forgot the full stop at the end of your sentence and I think it would have been better to have put a full stop after "Welcome" and then started a new sentence.

1) You've made a valid point there Pongo and one many fans will agree with.

2) Can't agree with that at all.

3) Your a complete t055er if you think that

4) Don't see that myself, but then I am I'm making pasta for tea tonight and afterwards will probably run the vacuum round the lounge. Does anyone else think the Dyson is  the     best    vacuum ever made - I think I will start an OTIB poll to find out which vacuum is the fans favourite.

5) Aizoon will be along shortly to give Horace a name check

6) Well, Les Q is a recognised authority on gravy making  and would tell you himself if he was here just now

7) There you go again - you're just acting like a complete knob now.

8)  I could respond to that but I can't be bot...................

Can't see how you think that there is any sort of process to threads on OTIB.
