Major Isewater
We are just brilliant at turning good players into ,well, not very good players. Perhaps If we signed crap players they might turn out to be good ? You know reverse Midas ... I dunno . Never have so few owed it to so many to get their collective fingers out and give us something to cheer about.

Also thought that about the strikers we had The Gas went through a spell of bringing in strikers for pennies and selling them for millions We have a habit of buying them for millions and making them look worthless
cider_dog
Our 'reverse midas touch' is not limited to players. We are pretty good a turning a successful manager into a mental train wreck as well... Anyone seen the film 'The Cooler'? It is about a guy hired by casino's just because he brings bad luck to any table he plays. That's us, just in a football context.
samo II
I would think he's found his level, more than it being interesting The bastard ruined my acca last night too Regardless if it is his level, he's won Pompey 4 points with his goals in their last 4 games; imagine their fans are pretty confused as to the jokes we all made about them believing him to be a goalscorer when he left. Plus, his goal last night helped take them above the sags, so for that alone I'm happy.

samo II
Oh, hell yeah, brother! Realise it is pretty lowest common denominator consolation material, but tight now I'll take what I can get!
Major Isewater
I would think he's found his level, more than it being interesting The bastard ruined my acca last night too Next season we may need a good forward for "his level" Also can't you gain a small fortune betting on a City defeat ? Oh and with Flint to score the winning goal .
'Orns
Realise it is pretty lowest common denominator consolation material, but tight now I'll take what I can get! My other half is a Pompey fan, and they killed my acca last night. So I feigned no interest in the game whatsoever, and the fact Ginger Pele had scored, whilst celebrating on the inside! Next season we may need a good forward for "his level" Also can't you gain a small fortune betting on a City defeat ? Oh and with Flint to score the winning goal . City were in my acca to lose, just wished I had Flint first goalscorer!

New Dazzler
That's one hell of a song though, Graham Nash in his creative psychedelic phase before CSN/CSN&Y!
samo II
It is 2 in 4 and last night's goal was a penalty. To be fair, penalties still count. And if anyone says they're easy chances, they should try telling that to Daniel Sturridge...
