Southport Red Posted June 6, 2004 Report Share Posted June 6, 2004 That IF Tinman's tenure as manager isn't the success we all hope it's going to be, that he will never be pilloried in the way that other past managers have been? Tinman is a legend at this club, my ONLY negative against his appointment is the certainty that if he doesn't succeed as our manager, that he will get abuse and lose his affinity with the club which would be a great shame. I am going to be behind him as a manager and a player right they way throughout the course of the season, and how ever long he is manager and a player for! Taz Posted June 6, 2004 Report Share Posted June 6, 2004 If it does go pearshaped (which I don't think it will) then I think we're more likely to see him step down from the position, due to the fact that he is held in such high esteem by the majority of supporters.
