Rob k
Can somebody give me a definite answer on the below situation. Me and my mate both had the flush The cards on the table were King, Queen, seven and 6 of hearts I had the 8 and my mate had a 3 I thought I win because my 5 cards were better but there was a thought that because it was a flush it should have just gone on the King as that's the highest card so it should have been a split pot. I asked somebody else who was not playing and they agreed it should have been a split pot but I'm still not convinced!
BigTone
I'm an expert on Poker and I can tell you that 5 Aces would have beaten you both
Nibor
The 8 plays, it wasn't a split. Had to check that myself. It's the best five card hand, including kickers if it's four of a kind, trips, pairs or even just high card.

Your mate's is KQ763 Your flush is the better 5 card combination. http://www.texasholdem-poker.com/flush
And Its Smith
Nibor is correct. If you are playing poker semi regularly then worth looking on some websites on probability of cards you need to get turned over on the turn and river versus price of bet, chips you have etc etc You may already be doing this and if so ignore me! Next question, which flush wins (all hearts) A) A, 9, 7, 5, 3 B) K, Q, 9, 7, 5 I do know just seeing what those who are unsure think

One Team In Keynsham
A) I'd think more people would be sure about that one than where a middle card plays. I concur, Ace flush always wins in this scenario. Unless you have Mr Chip the Carpenter as a hole card.
