havanatopia
So, can City keep the decent run going? The interesting dynamic of this match is that Port Vale still harbour hopes of creeping into the play offs so, as SC states, we must be very much on our guard that they will come for a win.. mind you, having said that, is that not the case with any team coming to AG this season? I still think we will win tonight.. getting back to winning ways with a rare clean sheet. 1-0 only though and Patterson again. Quote Link to comment
ciderbeans
Will be a surprisingly tough game tonight. Port vale are up there in the league for a reason and shouldn't be underestimated. What will help is the atmosphere surrounding the last night game in the EE. That should help spur us on to victory. I predict 2-1 to city Quote Link to comment
SuperFly2002
Nope - I disagree, It will be a win for the mighty reds 2-1 Baldock to score first in the opening five minutes !! Quote Link to comment

UK0wnag3
Fancy a 3-1 win for City. BTW, my spare U21 ticket is STILL up for grabs if anyone wants if. Quote Link to comment
HoldenBall
This is harder than Colchester imo, much harder, direct team. The pressures of being at home, fans expecting a win.. Hope to god I'm wrong but I don't see it being plain sailing tonight.. Quote Link to comment
AndrewBCFC1
I can see us scoring an equaliser with 10 minutes to go after falling behind in the first half. City 1-1 Port Vale Quote Link to comment
Hartcliffe red
Anyone know how many vale sold? Quote Link to comment

havanatopia
So no sign of a team sheet yet then? barely can I keep my eyes open... might have a sleep and wake up early for a listen. Cheers me dears. Quote Link to comment
OldlandReddies
Don't normally predict scores but something keeps telling me we are going to score 5 tonight, yes FIVE. Now wouldn't that be sweet ! We'll see. 1 Quote Link to comment
Kid in the Riot
Port Vale aren't making the play-offs, no way. They're only 7 pts ahead of us, have lost 4 more games than us and have a worse goal difference. Their current form is below par and their away record ain't all that with 11 defeats. This should be a very winnable game for us. 1 Quote Link to comment
Aizoon
Horace says 3-1. I'm going for 3-2; lots of goals but we should just shade it. We can both say with confidence: 1. It will persist down. 2. The match is on. Edited March 25, 2014 by Aizoon Quote Link to comment
...
2-1 to City Port Vale to score first Attendance 12,150 Sausage rolls to run out at half-time City to finish mid-table Boris Johnson will NOT return to Westminster as an MP TFR Quote Link to comment
Daniro
Baldock will score first, followed soon after by Patterson. Port Vale will score two in quick succession early in the second half. I'm not sure who will then go on to win. It's a bit like groundhog day - if we score a third, the rest of our season will be sunny - if they do, we're in a relegation dogfight but will probably just about be safe. Then again - it could be 0-0 like Swindon - PV don't seem to be big scorers. Or ... we might give them a right spanking. 4-0. I can't make it tonight so that's most likely, come to think of it - just my luck. On the other hand, maybe we'll get spanked. Oh, I don't know. Quote Link to comment
...
How can Baldock score first, unless we sold him to Vale this afternoon? 1 Quote Link to comment

Daniro
There are some big games in L1 tonight. Carlisle v Shrews Crewe v Notts Co both six pointers - I guess we want Notts Co to win given that they look like they're already down? Colchester and Oldham both have tough away games (Wolves and Orient) which they will hopefully lose. Swindon could do us a favour and beat Tranny away (though based on their form at AG last week I doubt they will.) If we win and these all go our way, we could be very happy later tonight. We win, that's all that matters. Not ever team will pick up points and with a bit of luck we can be 7 pts away from the zone Quote Link to comment

But taking a long term outlook, thumbs up Quote Link to comment

Daniro
Is it still on ? Apparently not - they've decided to dig up the pitch and put down Desso Grassmaster because of all the rain we've been having. Quote Link to comment
