In all seriousness they're trying it out at grassroots level (which think is a good idea) and maybe expanding it outwards and upwards (which I don't!) Lrrr Posted April 7, 2014 Report Share Posted April 7, 2014 Doesn't work when you're playing at a good standard imo, I remember playing Rugby at a decent standard when I was younger and you could use them. The opposition would take off their best player to give him a 10 minute rest and reintroduce him a bit fresher, sometimes at half time so rather than having 15 mins off he'd get 25. Not just for resting time but the system gets abused for so many things as people who have also highlighted time wasting with constant subs.
