Would You Let Rovers Fans Join Us

In the long run, they will. Not straight away. They'll start by staying at home on Saturdays, and then they'll drift down to AG to see REAL football.

Not all, of course. The older fans will remain loyal from behind their keyboards.

They wont - as we wouldnt in the same situation - maybe in the long term for children coming into this world, it may benefit our support but that is so far ahead into the future (and on the assumption they stay non league)

Lets enjoy their demise and not worry about "picking up any blue and white quarters" - its quite cringeworthy just thinking about it !

Yes. We need to grow our fan base and must start by bringing on board all local people where possible. Now the sags are out of the football league, we have a chance to turn the deluded few and grow our own support.

Rivalry aside (of which there will now be none) we must take control of the whole of Bristol. We have a soon to be upgraded stadium to fill, let's get them on board

Would you take a disillusioned Rovers fans willing to change allegiance if so what kind of initiation would you come up with.

I don;t see them switching codes. They would each need an official mentor to explain the finer points of the game to them (hell any points...) so it could be done if there was enough interest....

Now let's not be too hasty.

Encouraging folk to enter into a new relationship after the collapse of another one never works.

They need time to come to terms with their loss.

Give them a couple of years of Saturday gardening and DIY and then send the fliers out.

Their young, naive kids might be drawn to professional FOOTBALL LEAGUE matches at BS3 and that would just leave the old gashead fathers in tears ... i'd prefer that, than any sag changing his allegiance. Let em rot

Yes. That's how I see it.
