His style is about laying foundations, that doesn't get immediate results. They need to get up quickly before the UWE is built. Nogbad the Bad Posted May 7, 2014 Report Share Posted May 7, 2014 Carey was heavily linked to Rovers a couple of years ago when many of us - and Carey himself - assumed he'd had his last contract at AG. If he feels he can struggle through one more season at a much lower level then being such a proud Bristolian, and having married into a gas supporting family, he may well welcome the challenge of trying to lead them straight back from the Conference. The possibility of Carey donning the vile quarters and captaining Conference Rovers in August certainly can't be completely ruled out - especially as he's certainly not as anti the gas as many of us who are lifelong City fans. Stuart Nelson is set to sign a new 2 year deal with gillingham. Akinfenwa is set to be offered a new deal but is set to turn that down and join crawley on a 2 year deal. Gillingham are also looking at st. ledger and Logan from brentford. hewitt will join gills again next season some people havent a clue...we've released him! a loan player released by us! From people, without any shred of credibility, suggesting we should sign whoever to people then writing off players we have signed having never seen them play or getting wildly excited about a player signing who is yet to kick a ball for us.
