Guest city slicker 71 Posted October 27, 2003 Report Share Posted October 27, 2003 Iv,e just placed a post on the chairmans' Forum with regard to standing ie, Sheffield Wednesday supporters; being referred back to him by both police and stewards whose failure to provide an explanation seemed the best course of action for them. While eagerly awaiting his lordships fivepenneth on the issue a point or two to note: Wednesday failed to make full use of the free gift on offer to them, I dare say if the band were to dissapear it would have been more vociferous, note also how the upright swaying body lends itself to musicality, sooner or later some opposing force will get it right then Gawd help the faithfull! Despite diehard optimism we don't appear to be moving in any direction so come on get back down to the East End standing is permissable that is , unless a very convincing reply is forthcoming or you are prepared to wear another clubs shirt!
