Thinking of staying over, any advice on where to stay? Ideally not massively far from Wembley but perhaps some where which has a decent night life for after? bs3 Posted May 18, 2014 Report Share Posted May 18, 2014 Plenty of Travel lodges etc near Wembley . But if you want night life you would need to get nearer Central London. In the play offs we stayed in an hotel near to Marylebone station. Direct train from there to Wembley also in Central London plenty of pubs around. RedRock Posted May 18, 2014 Report Share Posted May 18, 2014 Went up a couple of months back stayed at the Denubious (sp) which overlooks Lords Cricket Ground. Booked via Superbreak and was cheap as chips. Packed full of Air Canda stewardesses :-) Not right in the heart of things but some decent local pubs within a reasonable walking distance and ditto for the tube to go to Wembley (the tour is worthwhile) and Central London. Last year, I bought some concert tickets at the last minute (about 2 days to go) - couldn't get anywhere to stay near the stadium, and even places in Harrow were charging stupid money.
