Izza
Name the players we have sold since 1982 that have gone on to play in the Prem/top flight? Had a discussion with a Gas mate last night and he was saying they have had the better players over the years but sold them all, I'm not so sure. Please help me out, thanks

zyderiup
Out of interest can any gas heads name their players Apparently, Lambert still wears his rovers shirt on a daily basis. Not that the sags just make stuff up as fact or anything.

BS4 on Tour...
Yep - someone mentioned him above - Rob Newman - he captained Norwich when they beat Bayern Munich away - a famous night! Gas can't 'trump' that!
'Orns
Would love Lambert to bag one for England in the World Cup, peeling off his England top to see him wearing a G*s shirt.....with 'justice for Wycombe' on the back
pongo88
David Clarkson left City to help Rovers into the Conference Premier. Mention that to your gas mate.
Eco
Mick Harford to Birmingham in 1982. I know Kevin Mabbutt went to Palace but not sure if it was before '82 or if they were in the top flight.

And Its Smith
Yep - someone mentioned him above - Rob Newman - he captained Norwich when they beat Bayern Munich away - a famous night! Gas can't 'trump' that! No he didn't. Wasn't captain. He did cross the ball that got headed out to Goss though. A stab at the Rovers players: Jason Roberts Barry Hayles Nathan Ellington Ian Holloway Gary Penrice Nigel Martyn Gary Mabbutt Rickie Lambert Marcus Stewart

S. Bristol Born & Red
Borderline, but Tom Ritchie to Sunderland '81/'82...Sunderland were top flight at the time..may have just been pre-82? Edit: Tom Ritchie was 1981...if we can go pre 1982, I will add Gow to Man City (81?), Bobby Gould to West Ham (mid 70s?), Chris Garland to Chelsea ('71ish)....
