I would say it's fairly even KM.

At this stage it's all conjecture who knows what will happen between now and this fixture?

Cotts might replace Van Gaal as Dutch coach , we may have been taken over by a Saudi Russian billionaire we ,i know this sounds far fetched ,may even have signed somebody by then .

They mostly seem very confident, and based on City's 2 abject performances against them last season, perhaps understandably so.

I think we'll give a much, much better account of ourselves this time, so they'll have to hope their newly assembled team is cohesive right from the start.

Like I put a few weeks ago, Cotts is away until this weekend, people made comments about technology etc, but nothing was going to happen until he was back

Wasn't that a draw ? Our coach was turned back at the turnstyles and they kindly gave us a police escort nearly all the way home !

It was a long time ago, my memory isn't what it was..... you could be right

*edit* Just checked on Wiki, yes first leg 1-0 Walsh scored, second leg Shutt with a diving header..... then they scored sometime later..... don't think anybody cared at the time (which is why I forgot they had! ;) )

Since our playoff result up there that sent them down, our results at Brammal Lane have been:

0-3 1-4 1-3 0-3 1-2 0-3 0-2 2-3 0-3

Not a single point and a number of hammerings. Its hardly surprising they are confident.

Wow. Pre season optimism blown in one sentence

Thanks for that!

Is that worse than our record at Wolves? Always had them down as our bogey team, home and away, but I don't think we've even been that bad at Molineux.......have we!? Started a new job in March and work with a big Wolves fan, he's even christened me as '6 points'

Wolves won't get any points off us this year ,i'd even put money on it .

I thought our bogey was S'Notts County .

IIRC We haven't won at Molineux since 1938 - I read somewhere that Bramwall Lane was 1957 (may even have been the club website)

So marginally worse against Wolves but given in the last 15 years losses at Sheffield United relegated us and handed promotion to Stoke/Hull (turned out to be stoke) Sheffield United probably feels worse!

That's true, Sheff Utd are not on my Christmas card list, that's for sure
