RedZepperin
I've always liked the idea that our capital had so many teams and not one used the name of the city. I hope they don't do this.

The Dolman Pragmatist
It is interesting that London may be the only major city in the world, or certainly in the Northern Hemisphere, which does not have a football club with the name of the city in it. Mendip City
I like it. All clubs names should clearly state where they are from and belong. I look forward to the rebranding: Gloucestershire & Non-league Rovers It's got a nice quaint feel to it......

The Batman
I hate it when businesses put the name of a city after their name. Mostly it's these fashion designers that have like, Paris, Milan, London etc. Love winding the staff up when the Mrs drags me shopping somewhere. I say to them, do you honestly think that having the city iafter your name makes you any better?? To some people I'd say it does, but for me?? No chance. Deliberately avoid it. downendcity
Anybody like the sound of: Bristol City Bristol ? A pair of Bristols in our name looks good . I would suggest BRISTOL City BRISTOL, as if you are going to have a pair of Bristols, make 'em biguns. Mind you, were Steve to suggest this you can bet his knockers would be out in a flash. Ooh er missus!.
