No wonder we are struggling at the bottom all he ever does is pass side ways or back wards, nearly gave a goal a away on Saturday through passing backward gives the ball away too many times and two goals from a midfield player is simply not good enough, LJ's words about 850 players mate not mine.grounds are players we need to keep but he will leave for nothing as usual. Surely more punctuation from our northern friend would make his piece more readily accessible as I can't tell whether he's talking about Little Lee or our outstanding new CM. in the case of Lee, he may have a point. He's not a defensive player more of a "pass and mover". The departure of Kelly definitely means at least one defensive midfielder is coming in. Oldham captain, only 23 years old, it all sounds very positive. A shame that Liam Kelly never really got a chance here, but Cotterill never really seemed to have him in his plans and Smith sounds like he could suit our team more. Pretty much box to box, good engine, very good passer, neat and tidy. Wouldn't say he was a holding midfielder. Delighted with this signing.
