I BELIEVE
And the roller coaster begins for another season, hopefully this is our year. We are all in it together. Come on you reds!

Dastardly and Muttley
At home, I'd have said 2-0, but don't think we'll do as well away. I think we will have a great season, finishing near the top two but I can't see us starting with a win. I'd take a score draw right now. 2-2. Lrrr
Reckon 1-1, tbh an away draw at a team who many expect to be right up there come the end of the season wouldn't be bad
Mike Litoris
Most important thing is to see how we approach the game, that will tell us more about our upcoming season than any result. If we are playing direct rubbish then it could be a painful year, if we play aggressive, attacking football with pace and fluidity then we'll be ok. Super
Haven't seen any Pre season game so really looking forward to seeing Freeman.

UK0wnag3
2-1 victory for the mighty purple & limes, I reckon. #UnanArmy
bristol south end
1-1 today. Tough opening game for both sides.
Mike Litoris
We haven't in pre season so I doubt if that will be the case. It's a bit different, the pressure and circumstances can change a players approach. If Flint and El Abd play then it could be difficult to maintain our good football... COULD. samo II
I'd take a draw, but is more about how we line-up/play for me than the result. With three home games inside the next two weeks after this, today is more a case of making sure the team are positive and know their jobs, rather than getting maximum points. nickolas
If Osbourne is fit I expect him to start, with Flint and Ayling as a back 3. With Little and Cunningham as wing backs, Freeman, Smith and Ward in the centre, with JET in front of them and Sam up front. At the moment that looks as good as we are, I expect us to score, but no idea how many we going to let in... But wishful thinking, a 2-1 win or a 1-1 draw. If El Abd is playing then no hope of a clean sheet... seasonal scape goat installed :-) I guess we need to perform more than anything and look like we have potential irrespective of the score. Ward?! Lew-T
Sorry but we do look like a player short at the back! 2-1 loss
CiderHeadDan
I reckon a 2-1 loss with an early goal putting us 1 down in the first 10 mins, for us to grow into the game but still lose.

Williams will be in. Ayling wont start as not at the fitness levels of everyone else. If Osborne is fit then either El Abd or Flint will miss out. The rest I completely agree with. On previous form at BL we have no hope but who knows, maybe this time eh ?
ciderbeans
We have nothing to lose. Must go all out for the win and capitalise on points whilst there is no pressure on league status. I see a victory and would expect nothing less
timothy bird
Williams will defiantly play, that's about the only certainty in the back 3/4.
nickolas
Fielding Little Osbourne Flint Williams Elliott Smith Freeman Wilbraham Baldock. I cant see JET starting this game. Subs Richards El Abd Ayling Burns Pack JET Bryan I cant even fit Waggy in! Cotterill certainly has strength and depth. GK just my only worry. samo II
All these line ups without Williams but including Osborne confuse me; the latter hasn't played in the last several preseason games, while the former has played in pretty much every single one. Can see it more likely Osborne playing against Oxford tuesday night. And be it Wilbraham or JET starting, just pleased that Baldock is still here... Southport Red
If we lose today, that will be it, we will be relegated and nothing can stop it. It is inevitable. Best to give up now. Cotterill out!
