Guest RedMist
ahem... that should be LAWS, not rules...
City Exile
anyway - last season a player took an indirect free kick quickly, deliberately kicked it against the goalie and scored. Certainly a div 2 game. The laws of the game define the difference between direct and indirect. Within these rules are additional "decisions of the FIFA Board, which go on to say.........."a player using a deliberate trick to circumvent the law while he is taking a free kick is cautioned for unsporting behavoir and shown a yellow card, and the kick retaken." So on the basis this was a trick surely he should have been booked. Was it QPR? We was robbed!

He gave the ball to Evans who who was about 6 yards out. Evans took the free kick but the keeper tried to save it and it went in.

The Man In Black
Nah, forget following the link, just ask me. I'm a bored student with too little to do in my life (aside from having to reinstall windows on this computer three times today... grrr...) and it gives me something to do in my spare time
