TRL Posted August 17, 2014 Report Share Posted August 17, 2014 Judging by this game, Southampton have done brilliantly, off loaded a ton of players for big money who don't want to be there, brought in some good signing, got the youth in and have carried on from last season. Early days, but it looks quite good for them. Liverpool same defensive frailties and nowhere near the space for their attacking player now Suarez has gone. I thought Liverpool were less than convincing. I'm sure they'll improve, but Southampton were very unlucky not to come away with a point there- they were very dominant in the second half. I don't think you can underestimate how much of their play relied on Suarez last season; they better hope Markovic is a world-beater in waiting or develop a new plan A; they sold the last one to Barca!
