Forza Revolution
Surely deserves a minutes thought at the next home game http://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/article/20140821-donclark-1851787.aspx
Rudolf Hucker
He retired before I was born although I did watch his son, Brian play. Don Clark is certainly worthy of "legend" status in my view for all that he achieved for us during his time as a player and thus a minute silence or applause will be well in order at the next home match. Rest peacefully Don.
Aizoon
Definite legend, before even my time. RIP
REDOXO
My Old man used to speak of Don and his post war exploits! A minutes applause at the next home game for both Don and Brian would be a nice touch! Don look out for Roy, he speaks highly of you!

glynriley
42 goals in 42 games in the 46/47 season. Doubt will see that record broken. Rest In Peace.
cityexile
12th highest scorer for us, and also the record holder at 42 goals in a season. Reading between the lines, started playing just before WW2, and all this was achieved after the end of the conflict, and his return to the side. One has to assume that without a six year break in his career in his youth he would have been much higher up our list of top scorers. Does not seem unreasonable to speculate that with a career spanning 1937-1951, without the war he would most likely have been in our top three scorers ever. I would have thought a minutes applause to celebrate the passing of our greatest goal scorer ever in a single season is entirely appropraite. sglosbcfc
RIP Don Clark, from what I've heard about you, a certain pick for the City squad in that great football league in the sky. My thoughts are with his family.
RedUn
I had the great good fortune to spend a few hours in his company around 20 years ago, lovely man ... a great servant to the club as Secretary not just as player and where might his career have taken him but for WWII? RIP "The Don"
