Following on from the best goalkeeper thread I was going to best right back but let's go the whole hog and pick the best players in a 442 formation for players you've seen!

Have to agree, Nicky Hunt was the worst footballer I have personally seen down the gate, I can't remember him having even one average game, he was just poor at best week in week out.

Although, thankfully, there weren't many weeks he was in.

 

Amazing to think he won 10 England U21 caps.

McGivern.

I liked Stewart. He was a donkey, but you sensed he knew it. Nicky Hunt looked alright in pre-season but struggled with injuries.

McGivern had no business being a professional footballer. Probably why he went for a career change and now plays in Scotland.

Bench: Ricky Foster, Mathew Briggs, Nicky Shorey, Stern John,

Nicky Storey is nowhere near bad enough to get into that team. He was a good passer of the ball and had a brain on him, but had lost all pace and consequently got caught out of position, miles upfield on a couple of very notable and embarrassing occasions.

For me he was terrible, and his comments on social media didn't help his popularity here
