Mike Litoris
To be fair, that's great news. Hopefully now they can go on to prove that fan ownership can work here in England. I think we'd all like to see more of that in football

steveybadger
Pleased for Pompey fans of whom I have a few friends. That said one of my Pompey mates said that even the fall from grace in recent times was worth it given they lived the dream for a while, Prem, FA Cup win, Milan in Europe etc. Not sure if his view reflects Pompey fans' views in general, but thought it was an interesting take. Spare a thought though for the numerous small businesses which received a small amount in the pound for all the money they were owed following 2 CVAs....... Running Man
What they have paid off are their "football debts" that always take preference sadly, so people like Kanu getting a big fat settlement whereas all the local traders are still being told to go spin. Somehow without setting with their smaller creditors the owners now find themselves owning the ground and the surrounding land. Their ground redevelopment plans are dependent on a local Tesco store moving in and building a bigger store - sound familiar? Not likely to happen now. Still stinks to me.
