The Casual Connoisseur
It's the start of October, it can be argued that every team is in a false position as teams rarely stay int e same position or even same half of the league when may comes around. I'll take some slack for this but I think top 6 is where we finish, it's anyone's guess if that's 1st or 6th but its rare a team stays top all season, very rare. Bar BS3
I'm worried, genuinely worried about these goobers. When is their game in hand and who is it against? I know it's early days but ANYONE but them to finish above us! If they are the only team who finish above us, then I'll take that now. Thank you very much! dezgimed
Yes, it should be nearer London. Swindon is not West Country You should get yourself a map. Its closer to us than London. Also part of Wiltshire, again pretty West if thats what we are.

dezgimed
....and Swindon is at the top right of that red section of the map. Right next to Berks and Oxfordshire. And if you draw a vertical line separating East and West, does the entire red section sit on the East or West? Just like an eye test, East, or West. West, or East. East, or West. If you were drawing a line separating East and West, it wouldn't be vertical (or North-South) Otherwise, Newcastle would be in the West.

dezgimed
You can be a right simpleton sometimes, dez. True tho ain't it, Swindon more west than east. The whole country knows they don't have the proper west attributes though.

samo II
Make that three. Cue their fans excuses about '2nd side'. To be fair, we'll use the same if we go down tomorrow. Some of the teams put out/results tonight from other top half sides are encouraging; suggests we're not alone in a lack of depth.
