Kid in the Riot
Who in their last 5 games have won 0 drawn 1 lost 4 including todays defeat to bottom of the league Crewe...should be another win especially with our record at the Ricoh. Given their form and recent home crowd it's clear they're still in a bit of turmoil...

samo II
Losing to Crewe (and having a lad sent off too; handy for us) means we walk into this one very much favourites, which carries advantages and disadvantages. If Smith is out, could be interesting to see how we line up, and that may have a distabilising effect. But Crewe really have been bad, so makes you wonder how bad a team who seemed to start well but have fallen to being beaten by them must be. HoldenBall
Eh, you called me a pessimist! A draw away from home at a so called "big boy" in this division is not a bad result..even though some fans think we should win every game 10-

Bristol_South_End
Haven't we lost to them away on last two occasions? The defeat at the Rioch on Boxing Day was appalling from memory! It wasn't that bad, just one of those horribly frustrating games where we were throwing the kitchen sink but couldn't get an equaliser.

The Boxing Day defeat under McInnes was indeed appalling. There is surely no way this visit to the Ricoh can be as bad as that day.

samo II
They will be better on saturday I think but I think we take at least one point. CoyrNice thing is that having grabbed all three points in another home game, a single one at Coventry wouldn't be the worst result now. That said; again this season we head to a team on an appalling run (Port Vale having been on a similar one) and full of confidence off the back of a couple of decent results ourselves (am counting Cheltenham, as was a very professional showing). As we've tended to do of late, hope we throw everything at them from the first whistle and see what their reaction is under pressure, and how the home fans respond to their side being on the back foot. cityexile
Random stat of the day. It is over 50 years since Coventry finished in a top six position in the league, whatever one they were in. Now, clearly the extended run in the top league distorts that, but I still find it an extraordinary stat. Following BCFC it seems most years we are battling for promotion, of against the opposite!
