My Trip To Work (Fao Aizoon)

Recommended Posts

All this happened between the Cheltenham & Tewkesbury junctions on the M5 North this morning.....

Saw a squashed hedgehog in the fast lane, whenever I see a hedgehog now I think of Horace

Within 10 seconds going south I saw a truck with 'ISIS Transport Services' on it

About a minute later another truck went south saying "Coventry'

And about 90 seconds later I saw one with 'The Vital Link' on it

So, Mr Aizoon, I put it to you - Horace has faked his own death but I'm struggling what the Vital Link between Horace, ISIS & Coventry is

At the time I was listening to a podcast 'Howard Hughes - The Unexpected' and this episode was about conspiracy theories......which may explain my state of mind

He's faked his death to avoid retribution from maddened Hitchin fans after his Hertfordshire trip. He's also hiding from ISIS after the latest fatwa denouncing hedgehogs as haram and unislamic :fear: Not sure what Coverntry has to do with it, though...

It is all quite clear. We will lose to Coventry tomorrow.

Aizoon has apologised in advance that if we lose to Bradford it is his fault, for breaking a solemn undertaking.

However, I have forensically gone through all the evidence, and what Aizoon actually said is that he would not go to another home game until we had lost. He has not broken anything as yet, unless he ends up going to the game and we are still unbeaten.

Now, in Isis, I believe we are making the mistake of assuming this refers to the current one that gets all the publicity. It is however, very clearly a reference to Isis, the Egyptian goddess worshipped as the patroness of nature and magic. This is clear as she used her magical skills, in restoring Osiris to life (a clear analogue to Bristol City) after having gathered the body parts that had been strewn about the earth by Set (again, clearly SoD).

It was believed that the Nile River flooded every year because of the tears of sorrow which Isis wept for Osiris.

Only an idiot would fail to see the link. The club has been reborn. Isis is upset as a promise looks like being broken. It can only be preserved by us being beaten tomorrow by magical skills. She then points us, by the hedgehog, to Aizoon, as the real culprit. The vital link.

After the defeat, our tears of sorrow will go on for year after year.

And all because of that bloody hedgehog.

Brilliant. I suspect it was a hedgehog that shot JFK.

You suspect?

Quite true, but in 1962 Krushchev said he wanted to put a "hedgehog down Uncles Sam's pants' just before the Cuban missle crisis.

A year later JFK was dead. When looking at the 'magic bullet' the forensic experts of the time did not take account of the possability of him being shot from inside his own pants. It is clearly not a coincidence that Marilyn Monroe, knowing the sleeper down his pants, also had to go.

The russians had as much as said it was a hedgehog.

...and that concludes the nominations for the 2014 OTIB Booker Awards :)

Hence the 1975 Soviet award winning cartoon Yozhik v tumane (Hedgehog in the fog) - a subtle allegory of the Cold War.
