EnclosureSurge
What is it with Mr Carey always saying "as I said" or "like I said"? He must say everything at least twice if that's valid. Ditto, Cotswold! You and Rudolf are right at it tonight!! I wish I'd stayed at home and not gone to the Bruce Rioch Arena at this rate, it sounds a right barrel of laughs on R Bris. Portland Bill
Look in the match day thread. He came out with some classic tongue twisters today.I listened to the game, and enjoyed what he had to say. Unlike some,I wasn't trying to pick fault with what he said. He's been playing football for last 20 years not having fn elocution lessons!

Nail on head ,inadvertantly .It's not that easy and that is why it should be left to the professional commentators, or ex-footballers who have had training for broadcasting. Not just any old former player who happens to be free on the day . As a commentator Louis makes a good footballer .

bristol south end
Agreed, let some of those criticising have a go and see how easy it is. I would and could do better. In fact not football related, i have been invited to Radio Bristol a few times by Keith Warmington to read and talk about the Bristol Poetry Slam a few years ago. Also did Radio 5, one program aired on ITV

HoldenBall
Football phone ins really do bring the best out of the typical, stupid deluded football fan. One Watford fan on 606 phone in said the club was right to sack Mckinlay because they drew against Brighton..
