Fringe Players Taking Their Chance

Who Are Rovers?

Recommended Posts

They say it's a squad game, and we're showing that thoroughly this season.

Every player that has been called upon to do a role has been superb and fully professional. Pack took his chance with two hands today, having a blinding first half, although understandably fading away in the latter stages of the second.

Now this could start a whole new discussion, when the game is crying out for substitutes, fresh legs etc etc, and he eventually does it, and the two players brought on between them have relieved all pressure from the team, but we'll leave that discussion for a later date. The two players I'm on about of course, JET and Wagstaff, who both combined to score a crucial goal. JET of course has already played parts in the Notts County game, and the Cheltenham.

The same could be said for Burns in both games last weeks games, where he stepped up to the mark and done what he was in the team to do.

So overall, I'm really impressed, and not just with the first 11, but with the squad in general. Anyone who is needed to step up to the plate, is more than capable.
