Leveller
Can never get enough Savage bashing. Thus, even though I've posted it elsewhere before:http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/columnists/jonathan-liew/11054176/Match-of-the-Day-Robbie-Savage-represents-the-triumph-of-personality-and-opinions-over-perceptiveness.html Good article. Man's a prat.
Northern Red
Well I think you're all being very harsh, and in my opinion the BBC should be applauded for being inclusive by showing that having mild learning difficulties is no barrier to having a career in TV commentary. RedYoshi
Will Bas ever get a break from our bashing? Hey. Bas is a hero amongst lesser mortals. Back at Easter, I went to see a Thai Premier League game, and was asking about the quality. I came to the conclusion that it was a league in which "someone like Bas Savage might end up". Midway through the first half, a friend tapped me on the shoulder, having scanned through the teamsheets in the programme. "Did you mention Bas Savage earlier?" There he was, no.10, amongst the opposition's subs. Amazing. Cue chants of "you're just a shit Bristol City" from our small band of Englishmen amongst some very bemused Thai supporters, and a huge ovation when he was brought into the fray. Love him, and gave him a standing ovation at the end. Which was ironic, seeing how much he'd fallen over in the match.
rightsaidred
I actually enjoyed Savage's commentary in the end just because he was going mental, I thought he was going to join in the pitch invasion! I also enjoyed savage's input. I would,nt knock it, it could of been lawrenson!!!!!
